Tamara Jones
Tamara is a hands-on, experienced finance executive with more than 25 years of experience in both public accounting and several industries. Her intellectual curiosity and skills in accounting, finance, operations, management, and problem solving steered her through her career in many financial executive and CFO roles.
Before starting her consulting year, she was President and CEO of a global restaurant chain. This combination of operations leadership coupled with her financial acumen is invaluable in helping business owners develop processes, systems and financial reporting that increase cash, drive bottom-line results and improve enterprise value. Her industry experience includes restaurants, manufacturing, construction, e-commerce, distribution, real estate development, multi family, professional services, multi-unit, franchising, not-for-profit, healthcare and real estate investment.
In 2006, Tamara was nominated by her client and received the Dallas Business Journal CFO of Year award for quick impact.
Recently working side by side with business owners and staff, Tamara has successfully refinanced a struggling company and improved cash availability through working capital analysis, cash flow projections and implementing cash management strategies; secured new more favorable debt structure; and worked with bankers, key vendors and equity on a variety of creative financing strategies.

Tamara received her B.S. with a dual major in accounting and finance from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. She also received her Certified Public Accountant license in Ohio. She and her husband, Scott, have been married for 30 years. They moved to Dallas more than 25 years ago and happily call it home. Today they live in a suburb of Dallas with their two children and are active in their church, PTA, Community Theater, and their children's ice hockey associations.
